Directed by Justin Lin, the film depicts the mental states, goals, and realities of students in the past.
The story follows Ben (Parry Shen), a student who wants to be free and independent, who turns to violence to achieve success and a peaceful life. Ben, along with his teammates Virgil (Jason Tobin) and Steve (Sheng-Wei Liao), become involved in violence and become even more evil.
The story combines happy times with unsustainable events to create a sense of intensity in the film. It is not only a study of the personal beliefs of modern youth despite the passage of time, but also an idea to show people.
Better Luck Tomorrow is directed by Justin Lin, and Parry Shen’s scenes are lighthearted and funny. If you want to see youthful thoughts, this is a good movie to watch.
