This is a film about the last moments of Sigmund Freud, who was not involved in psychology or psychology. Specifically, it depicts a meeting with an Oxford don three weeks before he committed suicide due to oral cancer at the beginning of World War II.
The person he met with was C.S. Lewis, the author of The Chronicles of Narnia, but we don’t know that he actually met the Oxford don. This film stars Anthony Hopkins, one of the oldest and most talented actors in Hollywood today, and Matthew Goode, a lesser-known but very good actor.
