Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons

The story is based on the legend of Journey to the West, and tells the story of the life of Wu Kong and Pa Ji, who became the monk Tang Sanzang before he began his journey to carry the scriptures, and his three disciples, Wu Kong and Pa Ji, and their efforts to defeat demons.

The story begins with Tang Sanzang trying to defeat a giant fish demon in a village by the river… His path of trying to defeat the demon with love instead of killing it is not as successful as he thought… He knows that the only way to save the world is through great love, but being an ordinary person with no power, he is faced with many difficulties.

The combination of actor Wen Zhang and actress Shu Kyi as the two heroes made this movie a highly rated Journey to the West movie.

It has some traces of Stephen Chow’s work, but it was able to provide some different emotions, unlike the usual Journey to the West stories.
