I’ll just give you a brief synopsis. Po’s master Po Po’s partner Kai has captured the energy of all the martial artists in the spirit world and returned to the human world.

And he has also captured the energy of all the artists in the human world. To stop this, Po can’t do it with his current strength. He will have to become a master of chi himself. To reach this level, Master Li has been meditating for 30 years.

Master Shifu doesn’t even have that ability, so when Po is lost, his missing father takes him back to the panda village to teach him the secrets of chi.
